EVERGLADES CITY CRUISE

Tentative Program

Friday, March 28

Cruise to the Marina at Factory Bay, Marco Island at your leisure.  Plan to arrive by 5:00PM for BYOB docktails (munchies furnished) in the marina lounge with dinner at nearby restaurant.

Saturday, March 29

Continental breakfast in marina lounge and then depart for Everglades City.  Plan to arrive at Rod & Gun Club by 11:30 AM.  Lunch on your own (R&GC or several places within ½-mile).  Learn about the Everglades on a late afternoon/twilight cruise-lecture on USNPS boat.  Dinner will be at a restaurant across from Park HQ followed by an 8 PM lecture on the park at HQ.  Park HQ is about 1-mile from R&GC; a shuttle van will be provided for those not up to the hike. 

Breakfast and/or brunch at R&GC; croquet, walking, reading, museum & other strenuous activity in afternoon; 6 PM cocktails and dinner at R&GC.

Monday, March 31

Depart at your leisure for Gulf Harbour
